Hirsch & Mann collaborated with PR company Golin Harris for Cadbury UK to create a jacket that enhances the feeling of joy when eating chocolate.
This included design, tailoring, custom electronics, mechanics and software.
I was responsible for the Raspberry Pi software and communication to sensors/actuators/lights. This included a chocolate bite detection system using the Raspberry Pi Camera and the OpenCV C API.
It was a joy working with a few talented freelancers that did an amazing job integrating the electronics into the jacket: Aimee Mathew-John, Esther Laura Dennis, Caterina Schmitt and Elena Corchero.
Custom PCBs designed by Callum Knot.
